The name is inspired by a Haitian storytelling tradition built around call and response — the storyteller invites the audience in, the audience answers, and the story begins.
That spirit of shared storytelling is part of what the imprint carries forward.
The Author
Marc A. Augustin
Marc A. Augustin grew up in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where he fell in love with storytelling at a very young age.
Over the years, he developed a passion for fun stories that capture the imagination and take readers on unexpected adventures.
Inspired by his nieces and nephews, he now writes to bring those adventures to life for children.
His first book, What’s Behind the Door?, reflects his love for family and storytelling.
